Kuro is the internet alias of Kyro Souchy , a Ukrainian-Japanese programmer who apparently discovered computers because he was bored and then decided to become extremely good at them.
He grew up with his grandmother in Kyiv, where he spent an unreasonable amount of time taking things apart just to figure out how they worked.
Eventually, "taking things apart" became "writing code," and then became "seeing how far the code could be pushed."

Kyro grew up in Kyiv with his grandmother. According to the few surviving stories, he was a quiet kid who preferred computers, old electronics, and figuring out how things worked over most ordinary hobbies.
His grandmother reportedly encouraged him to learn things himself.

Kyro discovered programming almost entirely through boredom.
No grand plan. No dramatic revelation. No mysterious mentor.
He simply had a computer, too much free time, and the unfortunate ability to become obsessed with figuring things out.
This became something of a recurring phrase.
Kyro started writing small programs, messing around with websites, experimenting with scripts, and learning how systems worked.
Eventually he became exceptionally skilled at finding weaknesses in poorly designed systems.
The important distinction is that he usually wanted to know why something broke.
One afternoon, Kyro created a fake advertisement that looked like one of those aggressively suspicious internet ads everyone has seen.
The headline:
HOT SINGLES NEAR YOU!
The advertisement did not lead to a dating site.
It did not collect information.
It did not contain malware.
Clicking it simply opened a meme.
Then the meme looped.
For approximately twenty-five minutes.
There was no skip button.
There was no explanation.
There was only the meme.
The advertisement spread far beyond the group of people it was originally made for.
People began reposting screenshots of it.
Someone eventually called it "the worst advertisement ever made."
Kyro considered this a compliment.
He still has the original source code.
Somewhere along the way, Kyro Souchy became Kuro.
The name stuck.
He continued coding, learning, experimenting, and spending far too much time online.
Nobody is entirely sure when the serious programmer became the person who posts nonsense at 3 AM.
It may have happened gradually.
It may have happened all at once.
